The show runs March 22-24. Freightliner also ran full-page advertising in the today~s Wall Street Journal and USAToday. "The Sprinter has enormous potential in American and Canadian markets and the Web site will play an important role in providing detailed product information to potential customers," said Stern Dixon, MarketComm President. Development of phase one of the Sprinter site took place on a five-week, fast-track schedule in order for the site to "go live" by the start of the Mid-America Trucking Show. Development will continue with the addition of expanded dynamic content. "The Sprinter is being positioned as a new van for a new world; it is radically different from the old, established automaker vans," Dixon said. "The Web site is helping establish that position by showing a commercial product in a manner more consistent with a sportscar. Basically the message is that this isn~t your father~s van and this isn~t your father~s van~s Web site." The Sprinter site is located at www.sprintersavvy.com.
