The Inn at Half Mile Farm opens in June 2001 in Highlands, N.C. The luxury getaway features an expansive property on 14 acres of woods and pasture and garden. Former Atlanta businessman Jack Henry is proprietor. Room rates are $160-$285 per night. Rooms feature private phones with data port, tv/vcr, and luxurious accoutrements.

The property features a lake and two stocked trout ponds.
