MarketComm President Selected to Judge International Web Awards

CHARLOTTE, NC, October 3, 2001 -- MarketComm President Stern Dixon has been selected to judge the international Web Awards presented by the Web Marketing Association in Boston.

Founded in 1997, the Web Marketing Association promotes high standards in corporate Web development through resource development and awards programs.

The 2001 Web Awards program will present awards for the best sites in a variety of industries as well as showcase outstanding sites across industry boundaries.

Dixon joins a prestigious list of judges from firms as diverse as Fidelity Investments, Bell Technologies, Banta Integrated Media, DDB Needham, Excite!, iXL, and Arizona State University.

"Being a judge is more an honor than winning an award," Dixon said. "It~s also more interesting because I get to review some of the latest and greatest sites on the World Wide Web."
