MarketComm President Stern Dixon to Teach Marketing Classes at Lowe's

CHARLOTTE, N.C., August 8, 2009 -- MarketComm President Stern Dixon will teach a series of marketing classes for the more than 250 marketing staff at Lowe's home improvement stores corporate headquarters.

The classes are offered through an arrangement with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

The first class, scheduled for October, will be called Marketing at Lowe's, and will cover the various marketing functions at Lowe's and how they conduct business in relation to the marketing functions in other corporate and institutional settings.

Dixon has taught for the University before -- conducting a media relations course open to the general public in 2007..
